Annie-USB |
|
A top-quality 8-channel PC-based logic
analyser with probably the highest specifications in its class, this Janatek
product is excellent
value for money.
It captures data at a maximum rate of 500MHz, has a buffer depth of up to
1 Meg samples per channel, and incorporates an 8-bit pattern generator to aid
debugging.

The high sampling rate
available on this
analyser provides a more accurate representation of the signals on screen. (In
general the sampling frequency should be 3 to 5 times faster than the shortest
timing change being measured). 500 MHz provides 2 ns between samples.
The huge 1 Meg samples per channel buffer depth allows longer captures without
lowering the sampling frequency, thus maintaining sampling resolution.
The combination of these two features on this analyser is difficult to beat,
being especially useful for capturing high and relatively low frequency signals
simultaneously.
It is better to buy a logic analyser with a few good channels than one with many poor channels.

The software for the analyser is intuitive, very easy to understand and gives
the user one-button access to most of the Annie-USB's advanced features. It is
user friendly, and incorporates feedback suggestions from users. You
could be taking meaningful measurements minutes after installing it
for the first time.
The Annie-USB interfaces to the PC via the USB port. It utilizes USB-2 in its
highest speed mode, but is also compatible with USB-1.1. No external power
supply is required.
The Annie-USB offers high performance, excellent value for money and
ease-of-use.
