Benefits

The high sampling rate available on this analyser provides a more accurate representation of the signals on screen. (In general the sampling frequency should be 3 to 5 times faster than the shortest timing change being measured). 500 MHz provides 2 ns between samples.
The huge 1 Meg samples per channel buffer depth allows longer captures without lowering the sampling frequency, thus maintaining sampling resolution.
The combination of these two features on this analyser is difficult to beat, being especially useful for capturing high and relatively low frequency signals simultaneously.

It is better to buy a logic analyser with a few good channels than one with many poor channels.

Software

The software for the analyser is intuitive, very easy to understand and gives the user one-button access to most of the Annie-USB's advanced features. It is user friendly, and incorporates feedback suggestions from users. You could be taking meaningful measurements minutes after installing it for the first time.

The Annie-USB interfaces to the PC via the USB port. It utilizes USB-2 in its highest speed mode, but is also compatible with USB-1.1. No external power supply is required.

The Annie-USB offers high performance, excellent value for money and ease-of-use.

1 MHz - maximum delay = 16 sec
2.5 kHz - maximum delay = 6710 sec
Accuracy - 5 x sampling period

(b) Trigger conditions (configured using software)

Pattern "1", "0" and "don't care" ("X") conditions selectable on all channels
Edge Rising edge, falling edge, either (change of state), on any channel.
Edge/Pattern combinations Edge OR pattern (whichever occurs first will cause a trigger)
Edge AND pattern (for a trigger the edge condition must occur while the pattern condition is valid
Edge THEN pattern / Pattern THEN edge (the first condition is required before the second condition
Continuous Unconditionally - display updated at regular intervals.
Conditionally - display updated when a trigger condition is detected. Any of the above trigger conditions may be set as described above.
Pattern valid for more or less than a specified time trigger if pattern < duration (glitch capture), duration ±20ns tolerance, 1 ms max
trigger if pattern > duration, duration ±20ns tolerance, 1 ms max
Mouse/Keyboard A trigger may be forced

(c)  Pattern generator

Pattern source
