PC-based logic analyser model
Logic-16 |
|
A top-quality 16-channel PC-based logic
analyser, this Janatek product is excellent value
for money.
It has a huge buffer depth of up to 1 Meg samples per channel, captures data at a maximum rate of 200MHz, and incorporates an 16-bit pattern generator to aid
debugging.

- 200 MHz sampling rate
- A huge 1Meg sampling
buffer depth per channel
- Integrated 16-channel
pattern generator
- Flexible trigger options
- External clock input
- Extended capture time
- Variable input threshold
|
- Variable pre-/post
trigger buffer sizes
- Digital logger
capabilities (saving to hard disk)
- Connects to PC via USB
- USB powered, no external
supply needed for normal use
- Runs on all recent
versions of Windows, 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista32
- RoHS compliant (lead
free) & CE marked
|
The large channel buffers ensure that
longer sampling periods can achieved at any specific sampling frequency,
avoiding the need to reduce sampling frequency and so maintaining sampling
resolution.
The sampling rate of 200 MHz provides 5 ns
between samples. (In general the sampling frequency should be 3 to 5 times
faster than the shortest timing change being measured).
The pattern generator aids debugging by providing user specified signals to the
unit under test.

- USB connector cable, 1.8m
- 2 sets of 8 x SMD grabber clips
with ground leads
(details)
- Printed User Manual
- Software and manual on CD

The software for the analyser
is intuitive, very easy to understand and gives the user one-button access to
most of the Logic-16's advanced features. It is user friendly, and incorporates
feedback suggestions from users. You could be taking meaningful
measurements minutes after installing it for the first time.
Most functions are directly selectable by means of function buttons on the main
screen. The Logic-16 interfaces to the PC via the USB port.
No external power is necessary.
The Logic-16 offers high performance, excellent value for money and
ease-of-use.

conditions selectable on all channels |
Edge |
Rising edge, falling edge, either (change
of state), on any channel. |
Edge/Pattern combinations |
Edge OR pattern (whichever occurs first
will cause a trigger)
Edge AND pattern (for a trigger the edge condition must occur while the
pattern condition is valid
Edge THEN pattern / Pattern THEN edge (the first condition is required
before the second condition |
Continuous |
Unconditionally - display updated at
regular intervals.
Conditionally - display updated when a trigger condition is detected. Any of
the above trigger conditions may be set as described above.
